maybe now that pres.Obama has officially stabbed israel in the back and sent money to hamas for -olive branches-doves-lets all get along bumper stickers? use your imagination infused with a dash of reality and we should have just cut out the plastic facade and sent gps guided missiles to give them a weapon better than the sparklers and ladyfingers hamas has used in the past.now they can do some real damage! how must israelis feel after Obama’s campaign promises fade like all his others.

If we had every tax cheat here in front of us and made them self-select their position on the left-right continuum, I’ll bet you they would be all over the place. You can’t expect to assign a party affiliation to the conviction that one’s own gains were fully and completely deserved. Wall Street is full of market players who think they earned the money they cheated others out of by virtue of having been at the office all day every day. Nobody wants to give back a penny. Some do anyway and pay their taxes. Some shelter and offshore their money. Some engage in more elaborate deceit. I don’t think the phenomenon is party specific. As far as that left-right continuum is concerned, I’ll bet you the ones right of center would be sequestering a greater aggregate dollar figure.

Regarding the bio for Stephen Chu: “Global warmist…” Oh brother, Jane. I was excited to think I’d found a Republican/Libertarian blog I could participate in that’s based in reality, but I guess I’m S.O.L. You know, we can be conservative AND be apprised of the scientific research that helps actually describe and shape our world. I’m so bugged by this I may not return.
