If you believe, even for a moment, that the new administration doesn’t have designs on stripping us of our personal weapons of self defense, read this statement he made before a crowd of 20,000 today in Prague:
“Nuclear weapons are the most dangerous legacies of the Cold War,” Obama said in a speech in front of a huge crowd outside the medieval Prague Castle in the Czech Republic. “The U.S. will take concrete steps. … We will begin the work of reducing our arsenals and stockpiles.”
They don’t just want to get rid of your guns. They want to get rid of the nation’s big guns, too.
How many times have you heard liberals make the specious argument that the very existence of guns increases homicide rates? Try this statement from the same Prague speech:
“Some argue that the spread of these weapons cannot be stopped,” Obama said. “Such fatalism is a deadly adversary. If we believe that, then we are admitting that the use of nuclear weapons is inevitable.”
You cannot undo science. Nuclear weapons are here to stay. The only way to prevent the United States being the target of one is to have one aimed at our similarly-armed adversary. Stripping the US of her ability to deter such a threat makes “the use of nuclear weapons … inevitable.”
Never have I been more convinced that our President is either dangerously stupid, or intentionally evil.
