Ugh.
Newt is not my man. Never has been. But he is the self-appointed standard bearer of the American Conservative. Why would he drag the American conservatives who do support him into the filth of an event for an organization founded by “riot-inciting, police-bashing, lying fraud” Al Sharpton?
On behalf of Newt Gingrich, to all American Conservatives, I apologize for this horrible lapse in judgment. Now will you please stop saying that you think he should run for president in 2012?
Oh yeah. Vice President Joe Biden was there too, on our dime. But who cares?
