This just hit my inbox. Could this be any more obvious and heavy handed? I am actually a little nauseated.

The media is filled with numbers about the economic crisis. But the numbers do not tell the full story.
The story of this crisis is in homes across the country — homes where a family member has lost a job, where parents are struggling to pay a mortgage, and where college tuition has slipped out of reach.
That’s also where the story of our recovery begins — in communities where repairing roads and bridges, manufacturing green technologies, and rehabilitating our schools and hospitals will directly impact the lives of ordinary people and their families.
President Obama’s recovery plan will help struggling families right now by saving or creating up to 4 million jobs. But it will also help strengthen our economy for the future by investing in crucial infrastructure projects in health care, education, and energy.

Here’s the thing. We’ll hear plenty from people who want government to give them a handout. Lots of people will respond to this call like cats to the sound of the can opener. Who won’t we hear from?
- People who personally don’t want federal assistance.
- People who don’t believe that growing government is a good prescription for the current economy.
- People who are opposed to the stimulus.
- People who believe that their personal financial crisis is not a federal issue.
- You.
How do we make sure we are heard? The only thing I know for sure is that if we don’t speak up, they’ll not hear us. Go to their Operation Give Me Mo’ website and and tell them your story. Be sure you tell them exactly what your financial situation is – good, bad, or ugly. Tell them that YOU DON”T WANT A GOVERNMENT HANDOUT. Tell them that you think the “stimulus” bill is not a solution to our problems.
Let’s give them the real voice of the common man, instead of the whine of the perennial moocher.
Exit question: if you think Obama trolling his internet database for financial sob stories is bad, how about using troops in uniform as his personal political cheerleaders? Subtle.

I really recommend signing up on his website. There were many “economic recovery meetings” held around the country to discuss how to get the stimulus passed. It’s actually sad to see all the people with good intentions being manipulated this way.

This is horrible indeed.
Look into how many tax dollars were used to pay for this, illegally, to support Obama’s communist agenda.
It is not moral to use the force of taxation to steal from some taxpayers to subsidize unknown others. Unless we get back to basic morality, we may well never recover from the Dark Age this is causing.

LET’S HOLD THESE Dems to creation of 4 million NEW jobs! But watch the weasel words like “jobs not lost” so they can claim among the 4 million somebody who didn’t lose their job!!
NEW jobs, guys? Whose going to create them?
They are going to pad the government payrolls, that’s why the governors are going for it, even the SC guy will go for some state pork.. They all make me sick. STOP THE BACON!!!!
