Well, this blogger is one whitey who is also a Righty. In fact, I and many other whiteys like me have been embracing what is Right for many years. Wait…could Lowry possibly have been talking about “moral right?” Surely he wasn’t suggesting that caucasians are sub-par in the realm of moral correctness. That would be RAAAACIST!

It made me chuckle in the face of seriousness. Spiced with equal parts of humor, compassion, and sincerity. Hopefully we can all move forward my brothers, and sisters of the human race. Today, January 20th, 2009 brought us closer together than we have ever been. May we continue to be inspired, and focused.

I heard this on t.v. while eating dinner. I couldn’t believe it was said; let alone on such a world-wide platform! I came home from dinner and got on the internet to make sure I wasn’t the only one offended. Guess not.

what are we going to do about it? Absolutely nothing. We aren’t going to do one thing about it. Oh, we will blog and gripe to our friends but when our way is blocked in the supermarket by the folks we are said to be “keeping down” we will sheepishly say “excuse me please.” and wait patiently for them to finish their conversations with each other before being allowed to pass.
That is what we will do. That is why more is demanded of us everytime we turn around. That is why life is going to get pretty rough for those good Americans who value the Constitution of the United States. White people do not stick together like black folks do. That is why they can have BET, JET, EBONY, Black Miss USA, Benedict College, Black specific scholarships, affirmative action, holy crap, the list goes on and on! Just let a white man print a whites only magazine or have a whites only beauty pagent or say the things we heard today in the place and time in which we heard it. The crowd would have rioted. So I ask again…WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

I am a white Southerner whose family lines in this country go back into the early 1600’s.
What does that make me guilty of?
I have ancestors who were,with physical evidence, benevolent slave holders. What am I guilty of? My father was beaten with chains and
sticks during a school riot in the 60’s because he was white and didn’t run from a mob of black students. He, along with his sister and brother, were forced to stand on the school bus every day even thought the black students who made up the majority were seated one to a seat. He also was cut to the skull with a razor blade because he was trying to defend his sister from a black student on the bus who kept sticking his hand up his little sister’s skirt.
On a more recent note, my wife was mugged on Mothers day on the DC Metro by a Black man who said he was going to send her to her mother in a box! Oh, there were plenty of bystanders that could have helped her but my wife was the wrong color so they just sat there and stared all the while calling her white bitch.
She tried reporting it to a Black police officer at the metro but was told that she couldn’t file a report because it was an isolated incident!
I myself have been many fights because I was a “white boy” that will not sit quietly while hippocracy strangled our school systems and our community. I have never lynched anyone, I have never made anyone sit at the back of a bus, I have never told anyone “Negroes can’t eat here”, I have never beat anyone because they were black, I try to live as Christ lived, I treat every man as being created equal in the sight of God, and judge a man only by his character. Is that not what Dr King wanted? What then, am I guilty of? What more can you ask of a man? Rev Lowry, Rev Jackson, Rev Sharpton, Rev Wright…You tell your people that the white man is tired of being pushed! You tell them that this generation is guilty of nothing! You wolves in sheeps clothing, tell your people that their days of implying guilt where there is none are OVER!

It’s amazing that everyone was worried about Rick Warren’s prayer and if he would pray in the name of Jesus..Perhaps someone should have reviewed Lowry’s prayer first. Hopefully, President Obama will give Rev.Lowry the Jeremiah Wright treatment and distance himself from this guy too.
He pretty much ruined a beautiful ceremony. Rev.Lowry used his moment on the world stage to prove that “Change” has not come to America. It’s the same old thing, just in different packaging.

This white has always tried to embrace what’s right, even without being told to do so by some racist festering piece of horse dung. Frankly, I’m sick to death of this racial victimology and I wish to hell the aggrieved and put-upon losers who cling to this garbage would finally grow up and realize that their future is in their hands, not mine. I am not responsible for your fatherless upbringing, your lousy self-image or the long-past history of slavery in this country. The next race-baiting poverty pimp who tries to saddle me with this crap will be getting a defiantly raised middle finger and a loud & clear F U!
We ended up with this lowlife socialist scumsucker in the white house because too many (mostly white) voters bought into the whole white guilt mentality and the big-eared freak rode that wave all the way to the presidency. Well, congratulations, schmucks. Do you feel absolved? No? Well, how about after we spend billions in reparations. Will the guilt trips end then?

I was at the NYC/Times Square broadcast of this, and had basically tuned out the inauguration festivities in general and turned my focus on my fellow citizens. My attention was drawn to this idiot’s “benediction” when I recognized the same old cadence of juvinilistic preaching; I don’t recall the exact words, nor need I…it’s such an embarrassingly simple formula of opposites, anyone can play. It was something along the lines of “We will get UP…and refuse to go down…we will RISE…and not fall….we will SUCCEED…and not fail…”. I immediately thought “Who the hell is this ignorant jackass?”. This was just the segue for his well received racist Dr. Seuss impression where Asians were subtly badmouthed, and we learned he was hopeful that Whitey would eventually correct their ways.
