Unreal. A senate seat appointed by a criminal in Illinois. A senate seat stolen by a comedian in Minnesota. And now the Senate has rejected Burris’s appointment, despite the facts that the appointment is legal, and they had their chance for a special election and passed. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. More hilarity, no doubt.
