Looks like there may be another pay to play scandal in the Obama cabinet nominee pool.
I’m shocked. Shocked!

I’m not surprised either. What do you expect from the Clintons? ‘Change you can believe in’ is a joke. If the rest of us weren’t going to suffer for this, I’d say let the fools who put these crooks in office suffer the consequences of their ignorance. When you put an unqualified man in the White House based on ridiculous promises and celebrity charm you deserve to fall on your face. If people can’t learn from history that socialism doesn’t work, they need to experience it first hand.

So many of us had had the same thought. “Maybe this country deserves Barack Obama. Let the people who vote for him learn first hand.” It will be a good growth experience, but it won’t be painless.
I guess this is our penance for being unable to persuade more voters to our side. And penance for electing Republican corruptocrats who made our party look bad. And penance for allowing our public education system to be overrun with liberals who have impacted the worldview of the newest generation of voters. etc., etc.
If it weren’t for all the damage that Obama can do, I would be glad to be the underdog for a while. We fight better from this position.

This all leads to the main question. What does Prince Bandar’s successor know about Obama’s past life that will give him power that no American could have over him? What does Putin know that the New York Times was too lazy and/or biased to find and report? What does Ahmadinejad know that the Washington Post was too biased and insular to find? Was there some nugget that the AP turned its back on while worshiping Obama that will be used by a foreign power to endanger our national security? We’re not even a month from the inauguration and already media incompetence has fed into the weakness of the Obama administration. What weakness? The weakness that comes from lying and covering up and being allowed to get away with it. Democracy only works in the light of day. And there was an unhealthily small amount of it in the recent election.

It’s pretty crazy what is happening. Your point are valid and timely. And I think they spell very bad news for our short term future.
