After an Indiana Planned Parenthood was exposed coaching an undercover UCLA student posing as a 13 year old to cover up her rape and to cross state lines for an abortion without parental consent, the PP staffer who appeared on the video was fired.
Now, the Indiana Attorney General has opened an investigation.
Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter says his office will investigate a Bloomington Planned Parenthood abortion business accused of covering up a potential case of statutory rape. The Planned Parenthood was exposed in a new video taken by a pro-life student acting undercover.
…The expose video showed a staff member, allegedly named Diana, telling Rose she didn’t want to hear any more about the incident because it constituted statutory rape and would have to be reported to state officials.
Instead, she instructed Rose how to go to Illinois and get an abortion without conforming to the Indiana law requiring parental involvement before a minor gets an abortion.
…According to WTHR-TV, Carter said his office would handle any allegations of medical wrongdoing and that a prosecutor would bring forth any charges.
Better redeem those gift certificates while they’re still good!

YOU’RE AN IDIOT! Planned Parenthood DOES NOT primarily provide abortions. As a matter of fact, while Planned Parenthood of Indiana provided 5,000 abortions last year, that was out of 92,000 total patients. What they neglect to mention that while Planned Parenthood of Indiana provided 5,000 abortions last year, that was out of 92,000 total patients. The gift certificates are in $25 denominations, not for particular services — so they offer women (many of whom may be uninsured) access to things like pap smears and birth control.
So … 5 percent of Indiana Planned Parenthood patients go there to get an abortion. I’d wager a much larger percentage of people who go to gas station convenience stores do so to buy cigarettes or alcohol, yet no one accuses people giving gas cards of promoting drinking and smoking. People understand that, for the most part, people will use the gift cards to buy gas.
It also wasn’t alleged child rape, it was alleged statutory rape. In accordance with the FBI definition, STATUTORY RAPE is characterized as non-forcible sexual intercourse with a person who is younger than the statutory age of consent. The actual ages for these laws vary greatly from state-to-state, as do the punishments for offenders.
And I think they had every right to inform the alleged “victim” of her options, be they in or out of her state.

“YOU’RE AN IDIOT! Planned Parenthood DOES NOT primarily provide abortions.”
FACT: Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion agency in the country, performing over 250,000 abortions every year. These abortions cost on average about $500 each which means that Planned Parenthood brings in $125,000,000 from performing abortions. This means that one in three dollars that the organization brings in for its services are payments directly for an abortion. That kinds puts things in perspective.
Yea…PP is doing a lot of good in Indiana:

Angela,
You are defending the unlawful actions of a staffer at the Indiana Planned Parenthood. The staffer blatantly ignored the age of the father, thereby breaking a law requiring all incidents of statutory rape to be reported by Planned Parenthood to authorities. This rather exceeds her “right to inform the alleged ‘victim’ of her options.” Whether you like it or not, statutory rape is a crime and Planned Parenthood is obligated under the law to report it.
