Carol Browner, President-elect Obama’s choice for “Energy Czar,” has a troubling past.
Michelle Malkin devotes her syndicated column to reminiscing about Carol Browner’s last day in office as head of the EPA, upon which Browner had several hard drives wiped clean and later claimed to not know that this was a violation of a federal judge’s order requiring the agency to preserve its records. A dubious claim given that “…two days before she told her technician to purge all her records, EPA had gone to court to file a motion opposing the federal court injunction protecting those government documents.” There’s more. Read Michelle’s entire column here.
If Browner is Hope and Change, I think it goes something like, “I HOPE she has CHANGEd!”
Browner is questionable choice for Obama’s Energy Department given the ongoing problems Team O is having extricating themselves from the Blagojevich brouhaha. You have to wonder if now is really the right time for Obama to be attempting to make amends with the liberals who elected him?

PEBO announced Browner as his choice today. Good luck with that one.
