Via HotAir, this is the second poll published in which most of the names put forward for the next GOP presidential candidate sound like they came out of a liberal journalist’s recycle bin.
In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey out Friday that serves as an early measure of potential support for the next GOP presidential nomination, Huckabee tops the list. Thirty-four percent of Republicans and independent voters who lean towards the GOP say they are very likely to support the former Arkansas governor if he were to become their party’s nominee in 2012. …
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin … draws nearly as much support: 32 percent … Palin and Huckabee are statistically tied.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is in third place in the poll, with 28 percent…
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich … at 27 percent…
Twenty-three percent of those polled say they would be very likely to support Rudy Giuliani if he decides to run again…
Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal…draws support from 19 percent of those surveyed, and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist 7 percent.
Thanks CNN. The list of GOP presidential hopefuls you provide us includes:
- this year’s losing VP candidate from the general election,
- 3 of the losers from this year’s presidential primary,
- this year’s losing candidate for chair of the RNC,
- and only two newcomers.
How about asking the people polled about some of the new, more conservative blood in the Grand Old Party?

I agree with a few republican viewpoints and many democratic viewpoints. I vote democratic. You know, I’d like to have a debate with this woman and I’m sure others would wish to join and debate too. I do not believe Sarah is smart though but I do believe I am. I can’t stand ignorant people, no matter the age or gender. Nothing irritates me more than watching stupid people think they are smart.

To which woman are you referring? Sarah, or me?
