If Obama’s current rhetoric actually amounts to action, this could be very good news. An end to subsidizing wealthy “gentleman farmers” would be good movement toward the ultimate goal of ending subsidies for the farming of corn, a negative profit crop which is a burden to the nation’s wallet and waistline.
